WFFF In Columbia To Broadcast Baseball
HATTIESBURG, Miss. ? The Southern Miss Department of Athletics and International Sports Properties, the exclusive marketer for Golden Eagle athletics, has reached an agreement with WFFF in Columbia to air the baseball games from the Houston series on March 19-21 through the completion of the season.
"We have enjoyed our relationship with WFFF in Columbia and are pleased that they have agreed to carry a full schedule of Southern Miss Baseball games this season," Owen Shull, Assistant Vice President and General Manager of the Southern Miss property. "Ronnie Geiger and his staff are great to work with and are great partners of Southern Miss Athletics."
The station renewed their agreement with the Southern Miss ISP Sports Network and extended their coverage of Golden Eagle Baseball during the 2004 season. WFFF-FM is also a current affiliate of Southern Miss football and basketball. This station joins our flagship station in Hattiesburg, WKNZ ? FM 107.1, along with WGVM-AM 1260 in Greenville to provide coverage during the baseball season. All weekday games and Friday and Saturday games will be carried on WFFF-FM 96.7. All Sunday games will be carried on WFFF-AM 1360.
