Southern Miss-LSU Postgame Quotes Southern Miss Head Coach Larry Eustachy On The Win: ?I thought it was a great game, and one of the better games I?ve ever been involved in. It was a very exciting game. We were almost dead in the water. Our guys showed a lot to come from behind and be more determined than their opponent. I wouldn?t order Final Four tickets yet, but it?s a great win for our players.? On Michael Ford?s Basket To Send The Game Into Overtime: ?That play went exactly like I wanted it to. I?m glad Ford cooperated for his shot to go in.? On The Game: ?We were more determined than LSU to start the game, but LSU blew our doors off to start the second half. I think this is huge for our players, to weather the tough situations, and I think it will carry over. I really thought we could win this game. We were fighting up hill all game with their size and strength. The game could?ve gone either way, but what I liked was being down like we were and coming back to force overtime, and then making the plays in overtime to win.? On LSU: ?I saw LSU not taking us really seriously, which usually never happens. We usually catch everyone?s A-game.?
On The Game:
?The game came down to defense. We?re not quite good enough. We made a few poor decisions towards the end that cost us the victory. We need to get better at that.?
On Coming Back To The
?I like it here, but it depends. The people are nice and it?s a nice venue. It?s a great place to come. We?ll have to see how our schedule plays out. I?m not opposed to it.?
