Lady Eagles Soccer And Charlotte End In Tie HATTIESBURG, Miss
Southern Miss' Katie Randolph (5-2-2, 0-1-1), scored the game's first goal of the match during the 27th minute, her second of the season, off an assist from Emily Anne Chenoweth.
Charlotte quickly answered with a goal in the 29th minute from Courtney Crandell.
The two teams did not have many scoring chances as the match was a defensive struggle throughout.
The Lady Eagles outshot Charlotte 16-13. Anna Snyder had six saves for Southern Miss, while Lauren Dansby had six saves also for the 49ers. Shots on goal were even at seven each.
The Lady Eagles return to action Sunday, Sept. 28th, against Louisville. Match time is set for noon.
