Southern Miss Soccer Plays Host To Charlotte

HATTIESBURG, Miss - The Southern Miss Soccer team hopes to rebound from its two straight losses as the Lady Eagles take on Charlotte at 4 p.m. in the Conference USA home opener.

Charlotte comes in with a record of 1-7 overall, and 0-2 in Conference USA, while Southern Miss enters with a 5-2 overall record and 0-2 in Conference USA.

Freshman Carly Barkley leads the Lady Eagles in goals scored with four. Lauren Prewitt is second with three goals. Prewitt along with Katie Randolph leads in assists. Each have three on the season.

After Friday's match, Southern Miss will take on Louisville on Sunday, Sep 28th at home. Match time is set for noon.
