Lady Eagle Tennis Doubles Team Lose
OXFORD, Miss. ? The Southern Miss doubles team of Grace Kammerer and Kati Sadofsky lost in the championship match of the blue draw at the Ole Miss Fall Tennis Classic Sunday morning.
The rain forced Sunday's action indoors. The Lady Eagle duo lost to Margot Carter and Melisa Consado of Tennessee Tech, 8-5.
?I was extremely pleased with our first tournament of the year,? Head Coach Randy Rowley said. ?We showed a lot of promise as far as learning to do things right and being disciplined with our game. I would have loved to have had better results, but overall, I was happy with our play.?
The Lady Eagles will compete in the Middle Tennessee State Invitational, Oct. 10-12.
