Overflow Crowds Expected for NCAA Baseball Regional
HATTIESBURG, Miss. ? Approximately 700 overflow general admission tickets per game will go on sale Thursday, May 29 at 8 a.m., for the 2003 NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament being hosted by Southern Miss, and scheduled to start with a 3 p.m., Friday game between the Golden Eagles and Southern University.
The overflow tickets are priced at $8 for adults and $5 for youths ages 14-and-under and USM students with ID. Single game tickets will be available on a walk-in basis at the Southern Miss Ticket Office, located at the Pat Ferlise Center at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Sunset Drive on the campus. Tickets are also available online at www.SouthernMiss.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 601-266-5418. The Southern Miss Ticket Office will not sell single game tickets by phone.
A highly-successful sale of all tournament booklets has resulted in fewer than 100 general admission bleacher tickets remaining for sale. These will be held for last-minute, all-tournament purchasers. All reserved chairback tickets have been sold.
