Potential NCAA Regional and Super Regional Ticket Information
The University of Southern Mississippi MAY host an NCAA Regional Baseball Tournament and an NCAA Super Regional series. The dates would be May 30 -June 1, 2003, for the Regional Tournament and June 6-8, 2003, for the Super Regional series. The Regional Tournament is a four-team, double-elimination tournament. The Super Regional series is a best-of-three series involving two of the 16 Regional Tournament winners. The Southern Miss Ticket Office will not be mailing ticket applications for either of these events, because of time constraints.
REGIONAL ALL TOURNAMENT PASSES
Regional sites will be announced on Sunday, May 25 at 2:30 p.m. Team selections will be announced Monday, May 26 (aired live on ESPN2 at 11:30 a.m.). If Hattiesburg is selected as a host site, all tournament passes will go on sale starting Monday, May 26 at 8 a.m. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Southern Miss Ticket Office in the Pat Ferlise Center (West Fourth Street & Sunset Drive on USM campus), by calling the ticket office at (601) 266-5418 or 1-800-844-8425, by faxing orders to (601) 266-6529, or online at www.SouthernMiss.com. 2003 baseball season ticket holders will have until Tuesday, May 27 at 5 p.m., to renew their season locations for the Regional Tournament. Ticket prices are $50 for Regional All-Session tickets.
REGIONAL SINGLE GAME TICKETS
Individual game tickets, if available, will go on sale Thursday, May 29. Individual game ticket prices for the Regional Tournament are $10 for reserved chairbacks, $8 for adult general admission and $5 for youth (ages 14 and under) general admission and USM students with ID. Tickets may be purchased in person at the Southern Miss Ticket Office in the Pat Ferlise Center (West Fourth Street & Sunset Drive on USM campus) or online at www.SouthernMiss.com. Single game phone sales for the regional must be placed by calling Ticketmaster at (601) 268-8948.
WILL CALL
Phone, fax, and internet ticket purchasers may pick up their pre-paid Regional Tournament tickets at the ticket office, located at the Ferlise Center, beginning on Thursday, May 29. Will call will be moved to the will call gate (located just west of the box office) at Pete Taylor Park on Friday, May 30 at 1 p.m. Proper identification must be presented to receive tickets from will call.
RIGHT FIELD ROOST
Those with Roost season passes (excluding alternate spots) for the 2003 season will have the first opportunity to purchase passes for a potential NCAA Regional and Super Regional. The cost for each spot will be $200 and will include two All-Session tickets. 2003 Roost members will have until noon on Friday, May 23, to purchase their spot for the regional. Please call (601) 266-5281. Those with alternate Roost passes for the 2003 season will have the next priority to purchase spots.
NCAA BASEBALL TOURNAMENT GAMES AT AWAY SITES
In the event the Golden Eagles go on the road for an NCAA Regional, Super Regional, or qualify for the College World Series, a limited number of all-tournament tickets will be available to Golden Eagle fans through the Southern Miss Ticket Office. Regional orders should be placed on Tuesday, May 27, Super Regionals on Monday, June 2, and the College World Series on Monday, June 9. Priority will be given to current Eagle Club members and 2003 baseball season ticket holders.
