Games Postponed In USA's Coca-Cola Classic
Mobile, Ala. - Southern Miss baseball coaches and players are in Mobile, Ala., for the South Alabama Coca-Cola Classic, but, unfortunately, so is the rain.
That rain forced postponement of today's entire schedule of games. A decision is expected late today on when games will start, as well as what the schedule will be. That decision will depend, to a large extent, on overnight weather conditions.
Southern Miss was scheduled to play Northwestern this afternoon, St. John's Saturday at 6 p.m., and host South Alabama on Sunday, at 2:30 p.m.
When games do start, Saturday action can be heard on 107.1 FM, as well as at SouthernMiss.com. Sunday's game will be broadcast on 98.1, WXMI-FM.
Southern Miss is coming off a 13-1 Tuesday night victory at UNO, and, following the South Alabama event, will play at Ole Miss Feb. 25, and return home for a three-game weekend series against Louisiana Tech.
