Narra Claims A Flight Consolation Championship

LAFAYETTE, La. ? Southern Miss women?s tennis team concluded its fall portion of its 2003-04 schedule at the Pepsi Women?s Collegiate Challenge, Sunday. 

Sophomore  Nikhila Narra defeated Avirl Martinez of Louisiana Tech, in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, claiming the consolation title in the A Flight singles.

In the B flight consolation singles, Olivia Berry lost to Magalai VandenBergh of Northwestern State, 6-3, 7-6.
