Lady Eagles Defeat Jackson State In Soccer HATTIESBURG, Miss
Southern Miss (6-3-2) scored early and often as Freshman Carly Barkley recorded a hat-trick for the Lady Eagles. She now has seven goals on the season.
Jill Picaut also had her first two goals on the season, both came in the second half.
Southern Miss out shot the Tigers (2-8-1), 61-0, and shots on goal, 30-0.
Other goals scored by the Lady Eagles included Katie Warmington, Kay Beth Costilow, Shahira Ali, and Andrea Kerkhoff.
Southern Miss returns to action Sunday, Oct. 5th, against South Alabama. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
