Lady Eagles Lose to UNO
HATTIESBURG, Miss.--The Southern Miss women?s tennis team lost to the University of New Orleans, 7-0, yesterday, in New Orleans, La.
The Privateers who are ranked 58 by ITA, won No. 1 doubles 8-3, and No. 2 doubles 8-0 to win the doubles point, taking the early 1-0 lead. New Orleans went on to win the No. 1 through No. 4 singles spots to clinch the win. Southern Miss had to default No. 5 and 6 singles.
The Lady Eagles? record now drops to 2-16 on the year. The team will face South Alabama today, at 1:30 p.m., in Mobile, Ala.
