Lady Eagles Lose to South Alabama
HATTIESBURG, Miss.--The Southern Miss women?s tennis team lost to South Alabama, 7-0, today, in Mobile, Ala.
The Jaguars, who were ranked No. 31 by ITA, won both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches to take the early 1-0 lead. South Alabama clinched the match when they won No. 1 through No. 4 singles matches. The Eagles lost the fifth and sixth spots by default.
The Lady Eagles? record now drops to 2-17 on the year. The team will play Louisiana Lafayette at Tatum Park, in Hattiesburg, Miss., on April 13.
