Southern Miss Women's Tennis Team Loses To Saint Louis
FORT WORTH, Texas - Eleventh-seed Saint Louis defeated 14th-seed Southern Miss, 4-0, in the 2002 Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship.
The Lady Eagles finished the tournament tied for 13th and ended the season at 3-20.
The Billikens led 1-0 before the match started with a default at No.6 singles. Saint Louis jumped out to a 2-0 lead after winning the doubles' point. SLU then got wins from No. 1 and No. 4 singles for the win.
