Southern Miss-Saint Louis Rained Out

St. Louis, Mo. -- The opening game of the Southern Miss-Saint Louis Conference USA weekend baseball series was weathered out here tonight.

The two teams were in the bottom of the second inning with Southern Miss leading 1-0, and Saint Louis with a runner on second and one out, when heavy rain and accompanying lightning forced the postponement.

Weather permitting, the two teams will resume tonight's game at noon Saturday, and then play the regularly-scheduled Saturday game immediately following the conclusion of the suspended game. The third and final game of the series is scheduled for 1 p.m., Sunday.
