Standing Room Tickets Being Sold at Ticket Office
The Southern Miss Ticket Office has announced that standing room ticket sales are currently being sold for the April 16 and 17 baseball games versus Mississippi State at Pete Taylor Park. A limited amount of general admission bleacher seats remain for Wednesday?s contest. Both games are slated for 6:30 p.m., starts.
Monday morning, fewer than 200 general admission bleacher and single chairback tickets remained for each game. Standing room tickets will be sold once all permanent tickets have been sold. Adult standing room tickets are $7 each. Youth ages 14 and under can purchase standing room tickets for $5 each.
?We?d like to remind our bleacher ticketholders that we will hold the bleacher sections for them until the game starts,? said Terry Cooksey, Manager of Ticket Operations. ?Once the game starts, remaining bleacher seats will be opened to standing room ticketholders.?
Games versus Mississippi State account for the 15 highest attended games in the history of Pete Taylor Park, including the all-time record of 4,315 set in 1997. Two years ago when Mississippi State last visited Hattiesburg, the second and fourth largest crowds passed through the turnstiles.
