Lady Eagle Tennis Team Falls to McNeese State
The Southern Miss women?s tennis team lost toMcNeese State, 7-0, yesterday in Lake Charles, La.
McNeese won the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead. The No. 3 doubles spot was not played. McNeese went on to win the No. 1 through No. 5 singles spots to take a 6-0 lead. The No. 6 singles spot was won by default. McNeese won the match 7-0.
The Lady Eagles drop to 1-6 on the year. The next match will be against Nicholls State at Tatum Park in Hattiesburg, Miss., on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002.
