Lee Applewhite serves as Southern Miss' Assistant Athletics Director for Development.
Applewhite's responsibilities include major-gift fundraising, Circle of Champions membership, oversight of the courtesy car program and being the point-of-contact for all premium seating areas at baseball games, including the suites, Right Field Roost and Bullpen Club.
Before Southern Miss, Applewhite worked as a traction manager in orthopedics at Forrest General Hospital and Supertalk Mississippi as an account manager.
He earned his degree in exercise physiology from Southern Miss in 2007. A native of Sumrall, Miss., he is married to Brittany Applewhite, and they have two children: Halee and Hayden.
