Myers Morgan joined the office of athletic communications in August 2025 as a graduate assistant. He assists the Golden Eagles as sports information director for Southern Miss' women's soccer, men's tennis and women's tennis programs.
Before joining the Golden Eagles, Morgan competed as a collegiate swimmer for perennial Division II powerhouse Queens (N.C.). A five-year member of the Royals' men's swimming and diving program, Queens won the overall Division II National Championship in 2019, 2021 and 2022, with the 2020 team's chance cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Royals claimed seven-straight Division II national titles before joining Division I in the 2022-23 season.
Morgan, a native of Covington, La., earned his bachelor's degree in sport management from Queens University of Charlotte in 2022. He is pursing his master's degree in sport management while enrolled at Southern Miss.
