Thomas joined the Southern Miss Women's Basketball staff as a Volunteer Graduate Assistant in the Summer of 2019.
For the Lady Eagles, Thomas manages the equipment, assists the coaches in compiling information, films practice and games and breaks down film. She also assists the team with travel, and serves as the lead manager on the road. She assists with recruiting information and sending mailouts to recruits. Thomas also assists with player behavior and creates game strategies.
Thomas is currently a Graduate Assistant for Facilities for Southern Miss Campus Recreation.
Thomas graduated from Southern Miss in the spring of 2018 with her Bachelor's in Coaching Education and a minor in History. She is currently working toward her Master's in Physical Education (Kinesiology).
Prior to Southern Miss, she worked as a Volunteer Basketball Coach at Laurel High School from 2017-18. She herself played basketball in high school at Harrison Central in Gulfport, then played two years (2013-15) at Meridian Community College and one year (2015-16) at Southern University in New Orleans.
The Bay Springs, Miss. native is the cousin of Southern Miss football player, Ty Pollard.
