2020-21 (Junior): Appeared in 21 games, earning early-season starts against William Carey and Tulane ... Averaged 2.8 ppg and 1.7 apg over 14.8 mpg ... Had season-high eight points in 33 minutes as Golden Eagles nearly pulled off dramatic win at UAB ... Dished out season-high six assists against William Carey and had five more at Rice ... Shot 35.7 percent from the field.
2019-20 (Sophomore): Played in 19 games, starting his final 15, before being declared academically ineligible after the Jan. 18 win over Rice ... Was averaging 5.5 points and 4.2 assists until that point ... Exploded for a career-high 27 points in that victory over the Owls to help the Golden Eagles to an 81-68 win, its first in C-USA play ... Was 9-for-16 from the field and 6-for-10 from deep after having eight treys all year ... His only other double-figure scoring game was 12 points versus Tougaloo (Dec. 21) ... Had 10 assists in season opener versus Delta State, then seven more versus William Carey, Southern Illinois, Tougaloo and Rice, with the middle two of those games being no-turnover outings as well ... High School: Helped Meridian to the 2017 MHSAA 6A title and also earned Game MVP accolades when he collected 23 points, four rebounds, two steals and two assists.
