Austin Sharp is in his first year as an offensive graduate assistant working with the wide receivers in the 2019 season.
He previously served as a student assistant on offense for the program for three years working with the running backs, tight ends and wide receivers (2016-18). He assisted coaches with film break down and scout team. Sharp also helped with recruiting areas that featured South Louisiana, South Mississippi, East Texas, and Alabama. The Mandeville, La. native was a student assistant for the Southern Miss football teams that played in the 2016 New Orleans Bowl and the 2017 Independence Bowl.
Sharp graduated from Southern Miss in three and a half years with his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, finishing in December of 2018.
