Wesley Blazek joined the Southern Miss Beach Volleyball staff in January of 2019 as a Student Assistant. Blazek is a four-year member of the US High Performance Junior National team, spent four winters training at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., and competed in the U21 U.S. Trials to represent Team U.S.A. in China. He has been trained by Marcio Sicoli, Jose Loiola, and Andrew Fuller.

Prior to Southern Miss, Blazek played collegiate football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and East Los Angeles College. He has a younger sister that plays beach volleyball at the University of Louisiana Monroe. Blazek is studying Kinesiology at Southern Miss.
