Southern Miss Announces Men’s Golf Schedule for 2026-27 Season

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf program, fresh off its first team NCAA Tournament appearance last spring, has assembled another challenging schedule for the 2026-27 season.
The slate, which features four tournaments in the fall and five more in the spring prior to its Sun Belt Championship event, April 26-29, at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss. The Sun Belt returns to Annandale for the fifth-straight year to conduct its league's championship event.
During the fall portion of the slate, the Golden Eagles will return to three events that they have play in before, including the JT Poston Invitational (Waynesville Inn and Golf Club, Waynesville, N.C.), Sept. 13-15, the Badger Invitational (University Ridge Golf Club, Madison, Wis.), Sept. 27-29, and the Fallen Oak Collegiate (Fallen Oak Golf Club, Saucier, Miss.), Oct. 17-19.
The Fallen Oak Collegiate, which will be tri-hosted by Southern Miss, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, concludes the fall portion of the slate. The other fall event scheduled for the Golden Eagles include a first showing at the Blessings Collegiate in Fayetteville, Ark., Oct. 3-5, at The Blessing Golf Club.
The spring season shows the Golden Eagles opening at the Compadres Collegiate, Feb. 7-9, at the Iberostar Play Paraiso Golf Club in Cancun, Mexico, a tournament they will compete in for the first time. Southern Miss then returns to both the Hal Williams Collegiate (Robert Trent Jones – Magnolia Grove, Mobile, Ala.), Feb. 15-16, before traveling to the Louisiana Classics (Oakbourne Country Club, Lafayette, La.), March 8-9.
Southern Miss then plays in the Michael A. Marino Classic (The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Myrtle Beach, S.C.) for the first time, March 14-16, before finishing the regular season at the Mossy Oak Collegiate (Mossy Oak Golf Club, West Point, Miss.), April 12-13.
Next spring, the NCAA Regionals will be set at six different sites, May 10-12, before the NCAA National Championship runs May 28-June 2 at Omni La Costa Golf Club in Carlsbad, Calif.
