Cameron Awarded with Sun Belt Weekly Honors

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Piers Cameron was awarded Sun Belt Men's Field Athlete of The Week, announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.
Cameron remains undefeated in the 2026 indoor season, winning the shot put event in all three of the Golden Eagles' attended meets thus far. His throws of 18.42m, 19.07m, and 19.03m have all contributed to those wins.
The Golden Eagles will compete next at the UAB Green and Gold Invitational on Feb. 6-7. In Birmingham, Ala.
