Men's Basketball Welcomes Old Dominion to RGC for Home Finale

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss (14-14, 7-8 Sun Belt) men's basketball team takes on Old Dominion (10-18, 6-9 Sun Belt) Saturday afternoon in the home finale at Reed Green Coliseum. It will also be senior day for six Golden Eagles as they take on the Monarchs at 2 p.m.Â

- Tylik Weeks has moved into fourth all-time in single-season free throws with 165. He now trails Jeremy Wise, who is in third with 177 makes in the 2008-09 season
- Weeks scored 32 points against Troy on Feb. 14, with 30 of those points coming in the second half. He is the only Golden Eagle to score 30 points in a 20-minute half
-Djahi Binet was named the Sun Belt Player of the Week on Feb. 10 after averaging 24.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in games against Marshall and Kent State
- Southern Miss helped the Sun Belt to a 14-12 win in the MAC-SBC Challenge after beating Kent State, 66-65, on Feb. 7 at Reed Green Coliseum
- Binet became the first player in the Sun Belt this season to have a 30-point, 15-rebound game as he went for 31 points and 15 boards at Marshall on Feb. 4
- Southern Miss limited its turnover number to a season-low seven at Coastal Carolina on Jan. 24
- Southern Miss picked up two wins in its first Sun Belt road trip, which is its best start in league play on the road in over 10 seasons
- Southern Miss won its Sun Belt opener against Louisiana, 62-54, in a low-scoring affair. Israel Hart dropped a season-best 17 points in the winÂ
