Men’s Tennis Weekend Matches at Ole Miss Canceled

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss men's tennis has announced the cancellation of its two scheduled matches in Oxford, Mississippi, this weekend.

The Golden Eagles were set to travel north for a Saturday matchup at Ole Miss followed by a Sunday contest against Chattanooga. Both matches have been officially canceled.

Southern Miss opened the spring with a split in Lubbock, falling 5-2 at Texas Tech before responding with a 4-3 win over Lubbock Christian. The Golden Eagles will now shift focus to the next opportunities on the 2025-26 slate as the early-season schedule continues.

With this weekend's matches off the calendar, Southern Miss will turn its focus to the next stretch of the spring schedule. The Golden Eagles are slated to return to action at home against Jackson State on Feb. 13.
