Football to Play West Virginia in 2027

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss and West Virginia announced Tuesday afternoon that they have agreed to a play single football game at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, W.Va., on Sept. 4, 2027.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools in football.
Southern Miss already has two non-conference games slated for that season, including a Sept. 11 home matchup with Tulane, along with a road tilt, Sept. 18, at Memphis.
