Mohammed El-Zare Resigns as Women's Soccer Coach

HATTIESBURG, Miss. –The University of Southern Mississippi Department of Athletics announced today that Mohammed El-Zare has resigned from his position as head coach of the Golden Eagle women's soccer program.
El-Zare has been the head coach since 2013, guiding the program for 13 seasons.
"We want to thank Coach El-Zare for his dedication and service to our soccer program and to the student-athletes he's mentored throughout his tenure," said Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain. "We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors."
A national search for the next head coach of the Southern Miss women's soccer program will begin immediately.
El-Zare has been the head coach since 2013, guiding the program for 13 seasons.
