Sun Belt Conference Announces 2025 Football League Opponents

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Sun Belt Conference announced Thursday morning the league opponents for the 2025 Southern Miss football schedule.
Under first-year coach Charles Huff, the Golden Eagles are set to play Troy, Texas State and ULM at home, while road trips are scheduled to Arkansas State, Louisiana and South Alabama as part of the school's divisional slate.
As for cross-divisional foes, the Golden Eagles will play host to App State and travel to Georgia Southern to round out their league schedule for next season.
The league schedule format requires every institution each year to play all opponents in their division with a full division home and home slate completed each two years. The schedule also calls for schools to play every team in the opposite division in four years. This is year four of this schedule format and the full rotation takes seven years, which is defined as one home contest and one away game against each cross-division opponent.
The full schedule with dates will be released at a later date.
Season ticket renewals for the 2025 slate are now available by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office weekdays during normal business hours.
