Maria Kaylor Earns Sun Belt Runner of The Week Honors

 HATTIESBURG, Miss.- Graduate student Maria Kaylor earned SBC Runner of the Week honors, announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Kaylor was recognized for her Saturday performance at the Azalea City Classic in Mobile, Alabama, where she finished second with a 5k time of 17:27.7.

Joining the Golden Eagles from West Virginia, Kaylor brought her collegiate experience to the course, demonstrating her immediate impact for the 2024 season.

Her second-place finish was a large contribution to the Golden Eagles, helping the team to take first overall.
