Football Game at Kentucky Terminated in Third Quarter Due to Weather

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The football game between Southern Miss and Kentucky was terminated with 9:56 left in the third quarter due to weather in the Lexington area. The Wildcats were declared winners after leading 31-0.
By mutual agreement of the participating institutions as permitted by NCAA rules, tonight's game between Kentucky and Southern Miss has been terminated and is considered a complete game with a final score of 31-0 in favor of Kentucky. All statistics in the game are considered final and complete.
Dylan Lawrence had an interception on the first drive of the game and led Southern Miss with six tackles. Tate Rodemaker completed 13 passes for 126 yards and Dannin Jackson had 42 receiving yards on three receptions.
The Golden Eagles will host Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, Sept. 7 at The Rock. Season tickets for the six Southern Miss home games can be purchased by going online at SouthernMissTickets.com, by calling 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office at the corner of 4th Street and Golden Eagle Way weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
