Men's Golf Finishes 10th in the Mossy Oak Collegiate Tuesday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Junior Ryan Dupuy (Baton Rouge, La.) led Southern Miss over the final round of the Mossy Oak Collegiate Tuesday with a 74 as the Golden Eagles placed 10th in the event.
Dupuy's final round gave him a 54-hole total of 218 at the par 72, 7,212-yard Mossy Oak Golf Club, putting him in a 30th-place tie. Dupuy tied with teammate, senior Robbie Latter (Mississauga, Ontario), for top Golden Eagle finisher after Latter finished with a 79 over his final 18 holes.
Senior Bennett Ruby (Waterloo, Ontario) added a 77 for a 222-stroke total to place tied for No. 50, while senior Thongpipat Rattanayanon (Bangkok, Thailand) compiled a 78 over his last circuit for a 225 and a 62nd-place tie. Freshman Supakorn Amornchaichan (Pattaya City, Thailand) placed tied for No. 67, after shooting a final round 76 for a 227 total.
Junior Cameron Guidry (Picayune, Miss.), who was playing as an individual, placed tied for No. 75, after collecting a 75 over his final round for a 229.
The Golden Eagles total for the day was 305, at 17-over-par, ended their event with an 880 total.
Nationally ranked Auburn won the team title after finishing with an 818, besting Ole Miss by 34 strokes (852). Cincinnati finished third at 856, while host Mississippi State came in fourth at 858. Liberty rounded out the top five with an 859.
Southern Miss concludes their season next week, April 22-25, at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, with the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
