Women's Tennis Heads to Northwestern State

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss (1-1, 0-0 Sun Belt) women's tennis team is slated to play at Northwestern State (1-2, 0-0 Southland) on Sunday afternoon. First serve in Natchitoches, La. is scheduled for 11 a.m.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a 5-1 win over Southeastern Louisiana last Sunday. Alyssa Richter and Hannah Chambers picked up a doubles win against the Lions.
The Lady Demons have lost both of their matches this season against TCU and Tulane. They opened their home slate with a 7-0 win over LSU-Alexandria on Friday afternoon. Northwestern State knocked off Southern Miss last season when it upended the Golden Eagles 4-1.
