Women's Tennis Travels to Big Easy to Battle UNO

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's tennis team (2-3, Sun Belt 0-0) continues its road stretch of matches on Friday as it travels to the Big Easy to take on New Orleans (0-1, 0-0 Southland). First serve is slated for 2 p.m. at the Privateer Tennis Center.
Southern Miss is coming off a loss to Samford, where Suhana Das and Zenn Lim were able to win their doubles match, despite the Golden Eagle falling 4-0. Angelina Blinova, Hannah Chambers and Malannia Vashkevich all have two wins for the Golden Eagles, which is a team high. In doubles action, Alyssa Richter and Chambers lead the way with a 3-2 mark.
The Privateers have lost their lone match this season, a 4-2 setback to Jackson State. UNO's other three matches have all been postponed up to this point.
