HATTIESBURG, Miss.-Following Thursday night's thriller against Troy, Southern Miss (9-17, 5-8 Sun Belt) found itself in another five-set showdown on Friday, ultimately falling to a late comeback by the Trojans (12-12, 7-7 Sun Belt).
While Southern Miss held the advantage heading into the third set, Troy rallied in the fourth set, forcing a deciding match, in which the Trojans carried their momentum, winning 15-13.
