Kaylor Finishes Fourth to Lead Southern Miss at Sun Belt Championships

FOLEY, Ala. – Maria Kaylor claimed fourth place at the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships Friday morning in Foley, leading the Golden Eagles to an eighth-place finish among 13 teams.

Following Kaylor, Emme Bates placed 27th with a time of 18:40.78, while Lexi Cooper finished 33rd at 18:46.47. Corinne Croy crossed the line at 18:55.80 to secure 42nd. Sarah Parnell (69th, 19:44.14) and Kristina Stojanovic (75th, 20:07.72) rounded out the team's scoring, followed by Olivia Smith (80th, 20:22.79) and Sylvia White (91st, 21:20.46).

Kaylor earned First Team All-Conference Honors following the meet.

The Golden Eagles are set to compete in the NCAA South Regional Meet on Friday, November 15, in Tallahassee, Florida.
