HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Indoor Track and Field squad completed its two-day meet at the Vanderbilt Invitational Saturday in Nashville, Tenn., by registering 12 top eight finishes, including a pair of victories.

Kingsley Unorji recorded a win with a 6.73 in the men's 60-meter hurdles, while the men's 4x400-meter team of Elijah Berry, Javel Fullerton, Jacoby Tanner, Adrian Harris posted a school-record 3:11.53 to win their event.

Warren Williams added a 7.91 in the 60-meter hurdles to place third, while Adrian Harris (47.41) finished second, Berry (48.09) fourth and Fullerton (48.42) eighth in the 400-meter race.

On the women's side, Trinity Benson, Addison McLaurin, Jada McDougle, Savi'a Varnell registered the highest Southern Miss female finish with a second place in the 4x400-meter race with a time of 3:45.74.

Benson added a third place in the 400-meter race with a 55.35, while McLaurin ended in fifth in that race with a 56.27.

Za'Isha Fraser placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 12.69-meters, while Jada McDougle (7.54) and Kenia Seals (7.55) finished sixth and seventh in the 60-meters race.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Jan. 26-27 when they travel to the Houston Invite.
