Men’s Golf Completes Regular Season Play with Grand Bear Match Play

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team plays its final event prior to the Sun Belt Conference Championship when they entertain three schools for the Grand Bear Match Play in Saucier, Miss., Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles will meet New Orleans starting at 8 a.m. and with feature six individual matches with each match teeing off every seven minutes from hole No. 1. South Alabama and Louisiana are then set to start their match at 8:42 a.m.
The consolation match will take place at 1 p.m., while the championship match will start at 1:42 p.m. All four matches will start at hole No. 1.
Each match garners their respective team one point and the team with the most points wins that team's match.
There is no live scoring available for the event.
Following this event, the Golden Eagles will travel to Madison, Miss., April 23-26, for the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
