Women's Golf Inks Belgian Golfer Louise Cuyvers

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss women's golf team inked Belgian golfer Louise Cuyvers on Wednesday afternoon to the Golden Eagles' class of 2024 list.

"This is a great addition to our team," said head coach Lucy Nunn Burke. "Louise's resume speaks volumes of her ability to adapt to different courses and conditions, to work as a team, and step up to any competition. Her international experience is a huge asset and has readied her to contribute greatly to what this team is building."

The three-time Belgium Junior Champion owns a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) of 733. Cuyvers has also represented Belgium three times on the national level at the European Team Championships. The future Golden Eagle is a two-time participant at the World Junior Girls Championships and competed in the LET Access Event.

Her career-best round is a nine-under par at the Italian Girls Championship. The Golden Eagles currently have six international student-athletes on the roster.
