Nyla Jean (Tampa, Fla.) recorded her first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. In total, six Lady Eagles finished with double figures in the scoring column—just the 29th time in Joye Lee-McNelis' 585 games at Southern Miss.

The Lady Eagles are cruising through their first three games. Southern Miss has not trailed at all in their first 120 minutes of play and are averaging 85.3 points per game. The last time Southern Miss averaged 80+ points per game was the 1994-95 season.
