Men’s Golf Finishes Fall Portion of 2023-24 Slate at Daniel Island Intercollegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team completes the fall portion of its schedule as they travel to Daniel Island, S.C., to play in the Daniel Island Intercollegiate set for Sunday, Oct. 29, though Tuesday, Oct. 31.
The Golden Eagles will play three-straight days of 18 holes and start Sunday as the 18-team field starts at both tee No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 7 a.m. CT. The Golden Eagles, which features the lineup of seniors Robbie Latter (Mississauga, Ontario) and Thongpipat Rattanayanon (Bangkok, Thailand), junior Ryan Dupuy (Baton Rouge, La.), freshman Supakorn Amornchaichan (Pattaya City, Thailand) and junior Cameron Guidry (Picayune, Miss.), start their opening round at 7:40 a.m. CT off tee No. 10.
Southern Miss is playing at the par-72, 7,332-yard Ralston Creek Crouse at Daniel Island with the field consisting of host Charleston Southern, Arkansas State, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Francis Marion, Lipscomb, Maryland, Mercer, Middle Tennessee, Seton Hall, South Carolina, USC-Upstate, Stetson, ULM, UNCW and VCU.
The two seniors lead the Golden Eagles in scoring this fall. Latter holds two Top 10 finishes on the strength of a 71.17 scoring average for his first 12 rounds this season. Rattanayanon enjoys one Top 10 showing and a 72.58 stroke average.
