Sandlin hasn’t allowed a run in his last seven appearances, striking out seven over five innings of work for the Guardians. He combined with former Golden Eagles Kirk McCarty to provide the Guardians five innings of relief between the pair in Cleveland’s win over Boston on Tuesday.

McCarty picked up his first MLB win on Tuesday, as the lefty silenced the Red Sox over four innings of relief, allowing just one hit with a walk and four strikeouts. The Hattiesburg product also picked up a win in his last appearance for the Columbus Clippers on July 16, going 3.2 innings with just one run allowed, before being recalled to the Guardians on July 26.

Cody Carroll (RHP, Sacramento River Cats – San Francisco Giants)
Season stats (22 games): 2-0, 6.67 ERA, 29.2 IP, 38 H, 22 R, 22 ER, 24 BB, 34 K, .317 B/AVG
Carroll made a trio of appearances the last two week, allowing two runs over 4.2 innings of work. In his most recent appearance on July 23, Carroll worked a clean frame against OKC.
Chuckie Robinson (C, Louisville Bats – Cincinnati Reds)
Season stats (51 games): .267/.320/.400, 19 R, 48 H, 9 2B, 5 HR, 21 RBI, 13 BB, 4 SB
Robinson drove in a pair of runs for the Bats on July 22, going 2-for-4 from the dish with a double. 
Matt Wallner (OF, St. Paul Saints – Minnesota Twins)
Season stats (83 games): .290/.382/.511, 62 R, 83 H, 15 2B, 3B, 21 HR, 65 RBI, 65 BB, 8 SB
Wallner was assigned to the American League Futures roster during MLB All-Star Week, where he went 1-for-2 with a homer that left the bat at 116 mph. He received promotion to St. Paul on July 14, appearing in five contests thus far for the Saints. Wallner collected his first Triple A hit and RBI on July 22 in a 9-8 victory over Indianapolis.

J.C. Keys (RHP, Chattanooga Lookout – Cincinnati Reds)
Season stats (15 games): 1-2, 6.39 ERA, 25.1 IP, 28 H, 20 R, 18 ER, 14 BB, 29 K, .283 B/AVG
Keys went 2.2 innings on July 23 against the Smokies allowing just one run on three hits with four strikeouts. 
Walker Powell (RHP, Tennessee Smokies – Chicago Cubs)
Season stats (22 games): 9-2, 2.94 ERA, 70.1 IP, 53 H, 25 R, 23 ER, 13 BB, 61 K, .207 B/AVG
Powell has been nearly untouchable over his last two appearances, including a start against Biloxi on July 24, where he allowed just one hit over five innings with a pair of strikeouts. In his last appearance on July 24, Powell scattered a pair of hits across four innings of work to lower his July ERA to 1.59 over 17 total innings.

Ryan Och (LHP, Fort Wayne TinCaps – San Diego Padres)

Placed on a rehab assignment to ACL Padres on July 15, where he has made a pair of appearances, tossing an inning of work in each start. 
Hunter Stanley (RHP, Lake County Captains – Cleveland Guardians)
Season stats (4 games): 2-1, 1.84 ERA, 14.2 IP, 11 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 5 BB, 14 K, .212 B/AVG
Placed on the 7-day injured list on May 3. 
Jared Wright (RHP, South Bend Cubs – Chicago Cubs)
Season stats (20 games): 2-1, 3.88 ERA, 51.0 IP, 44 H, 23 R, 22 ER, 27 BB, 44 K, .234 B/AVG
Wright picked up his second win of the season on Sunday with three innings of two-run ball against Quad Cities.

Reed Trimble (OF, Delmarva Shorebirds – Baltimore Orioles)
Season stats (6 games): .211/.286/.263, 3 R, 4 H, 2B, RBI, 2 BB 
Trimble was activated from the injured list on July 14 and has since appeared for the FCL Orioles and Delmarva Shorebirds over the last two weeks. He went 2-for-4 in his first game back with the Shorebirds, and collected a single in his most recent appearance on Tuesday.
