Sandlin has made four appearances for the Guardians since being recalled on July 5. He hasn’t allowed a hit in his last three outings, tossing an inning of relief in each appearance. The former Golden Eagle struck out two of his three batters faced against the Royals (July 10) and White Sox (Jul 12).

Carroll made a pair of appearances this past week, allowing three runs over three innings of work. He had a pair of strikeouts in his most recent relief outing on July 10 against Salt Lake.  
Kirk McCarty (LHP, Norfolk Tides – Baltimore Orioles)
Minor league stats (12 games): 2-2, 4.02 ERA, 47.0 IP, 52 H, 25 R, 21 ER, 13 BB, 36 K, .286 B/AVH
Major league stats (3 games): 0-2, 9.00 ERA, 12.0 IP, 18 H, 13 R, 12 ER, 6 BB, 8 K, .354 B/AVG
McCarty made one appearance for the Tides, before being designated for assignment by the Orioles on Tuesday. 
Chuckie Robinson (C, Louisville Bats – Cincinnati Reds)
Season stats (48 games): .271/.322/.406, 19 R, 46 H, 8 2B, 5 HR, 19 RBI, 12 BB, 4 SB
Robinson made a pair of starts over the past week, collecting three hits in seven plate appearances. The Danville, Ill. native drove in two against St. Paul on July 8, before roping a double against Scranton Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

J.C. Keys (RHP, Chattanooga Lookout – Cincinnati Reds)

Keys suffered the loss in his one appearance this past week, despite not allowing an earned run over 2.1 innings of one hit relief with five strikeouts. 
Walker Powell (RHP, South Bend Cubs – Chicago Cubs)
Season stats (22 games): 7-2, 3.38 ERA, 61.1 IP, 50 H, 25 R, 23 ER, 12 BB, 55 K, .222 B/AVG
Powell suffered a tough-luck loss in his second Double A start, allowing just one run over four innings with three punchouts. 
Matt Wallner (OF, Wichita Wind Surge – Minnesota Twins)
Season stats (78 games): .299/.436/.597, 61 R, 80 H, 15 2B, 3B, 21 HR, 64 RBI, 62 BB, 8 SB
Wallner was named the Twins organization Minor League Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks after hitting .333 with two homers, a double and four RBI over the course of the week. He drove in four runs with his third four-hit game of the year, while scoring three times in the Wind Surge win over the Travelers on July 13. Wallner was also assigned to the American League Futures roster during the upcoming MLB All-Star Week in Los Angeles.

Placed on the 7-day injured list on May 26. 
Hunter Stanley (RHP, Lake County Captains – Cleveland Guardians)

Placed on the 7-day injured list on May 3. 
Jared Wright (RHP, South Bend Cubs – Chicago Cubs)

Wright had the longest outing of his career on July 9 against the Wisconsin Timber Rattles. The righty tossed 5.2 innings of relief, scattering four hits, with a pair of strikeouts to allow just one run.
