Golden Eagles Land in Mexico for Cancun Challenge

CANCUN, Mexico – The Southern Miss men's basketball team landed in paradise on Saturday for the Cancun Challenge in Cancun, Mexico. The Golden Eagles (4-0, 0-0 SBC) are joined in the Mayan Division with Winthrop (2-3, 0-0 Big South), Eastern Michigan (1-3, 0-0 MAC) and Purdue Fort Wayne (2-2, 0-0 Horizon).
Southern Miss will take on Winthrop in the opening round on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. CST. Wednesday's contest will be determined by the results of day one.
