Golden Eagles Head North to Murfreesboro for a Saturday Battle

HATTIESBURG, Miss. --Â The Southern Miss men's basketball team will resume Conference USA play on Saturday as it travels to Middle Tennessee for a Conference USA contest. Tip from Murfreesboro is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST and will air on ESPN+.Â

The Need to Know
- Southern Miss is two days removed from rolling to a 50-point win over Southeastern Baptist in Reed Green Coliseum.Â
- On Wednesday, junior Tyler Stevenson became the 39th Golden Eagle to reach 1,000 career points and the 17th to have both 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.Â
- Stevenson tied Randolph Keys and Casey Fisher as the 23rd- fastest player to reach the 1,000-point mark.Â
- All available Golden Eagles scored in Wednesday's win, while freshman Blake Roberts drained the first basket of his career.Â
