Packer, Shoemaker To Tee Off at USGA Women's Mid-Am Championship

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -Â Former Golden Eagles Erin (Doyle) Packer and Lauren (Judson) Shoemaker are set to tee off at the 2021 USGA Women's Mid-Amateur Championship this weekend at Berkeley Hall Club in Bluffton, S.C. The five-day event starts Sept. 25 with the first group going off from the first hole and 10th hole at 7:30 a.m. EST.Â
Packer's group goes off from hole 10 at 12:20 p.m. EST. She is paired with Talia Campbell and Ashley Sloup. Shoemaker's group goes off from hole 10 at 12:40 p.m. EST. She is paired with Ashley Freeman and Courtney Stiles.Â
Berkeley Hall Club will be playing at a Par 72 this week totaling 6,246 yards. There will be 414 amateurs competing with the winner receiving exemption into the 2022 U.S. Women's Open and exemption into the next two U.S. Women's Amateurs. The low 64 scores following the first two days of stroke play will advance into match play on Monday, Sept. 27. The field will continuously shrink until the championship match on Thursday, Sept. 30.Â
