Track and Field Prepares for NCAA East Preliminaries

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss track and field is set to see 13 student-athletes compete with eight individual entries and two relay teams in the NCAA East Preliminaries at Hodges Stadium on the University of North Florida campus in Jacksonville, Fla. on May 26-29.
The preliminaries consist of the top 48 athletes and top 24 relays going toe-to-toe for a spot at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. with the top 12 from each event advancing.
