Baseball Series Opener at Louisiana Tech Postponed Due to Weather

RUSTON, La. – Heavy rains expected all day Friday has forced postponement of the the Southern Miss baseball series opener at Louisiana Tech Friday evening, pushing its start back a day.
The Golden Eagles (21-10 overall, 8-3 in Conference USA) and Bulldogs (24-10, 10-2), the top two teams in the current Conference USA West Division standings, will now play a doubleheader – two nine-inning games - Saturday, April 17, at J.C. Love Field beginning at 12 noon.
The series will finished with a 1 p.m., doubleheader Sunday with a pair of seven-inning games.
