HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Softball team prepares for a weekday matchup versus Southeastern Louisiana.
The Golden Eagles go on the road to compete against the 8-10-0 Lions of Southeastern Louisiana. The matchup will take place at North Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. (CT) in Hammond, Louisiana.
The last time out
Saturday, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles split a doubleheader with Troy in Auburn, Alabama. The first contest of the day ended with the Trojans edging out the Golden Eagles 5-4, but Southern Miss bounced back in game two winning in extra innings on a walk-off single 4-3.
Southern Miss is 12-8-0 heading into Wednesday's competition versus the Lions.
