Men's Golf Set to Compete in GCU Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action when they travel to Phoenix, Arizona, to compete in the Grand Canyon University Invitational.
The event takes place at the GCU Championship Golf Course and will be played Monday with 36 holes on a 7,176-yard setup, while the final 18 holes will be on Tuesday with a 7,207-yard circuit. A shotgun start will be utilized both days with the action starting each day starting at 9:45 a.m. CT.
Along with host GCU and the Golden Eagles, the 17-team field includes California Baptist, Cal State-Fullerton, Cal State-Northridge, Creighton, Dixie State, Drake, Eastern Michigan, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, Omaha, Pacific, Sacramento State, South Dakota, UTRGV and Wichita State.
The Golden Eagles will feature the five-member squad of Brice Wilkinson, Matt Lorenz, Hunter Atkins, Robbie Latter and Brian Richards in the event.
